Dr. Anbar Ahmad is a board certified endocrinologist and obesity medicine specialist, who has been practicing in Georgia for the last 10 years. She started her career as a post doctorate at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. After relocating to Georgia she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Atlanta Medical Center. While in residency Dr. Ahmad engaged in multiple research activities. She then pursued an Endocrinology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta where she trained under the supervision of renowned endocrine faculty.
Eileen Lau has been practicing for over 13 years in the Atlanta area. She studied biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, after which she spent some time as a research coordinator at the Washington University School of Physical Therapy. She then attended Emory University School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant program where she graduated with a Masters of Medical Science with highest honors.
Amy Labib is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Amy completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at Emory University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Amy is enthusiastic about diabetes and thyroid disorder management and collaborates with patients to create individualized plans of care.
Alexandra Daniel is a board-certified physician assistant with a versatile background in multiple areas of medicine, including dermatology, orthopedics, and endocrinology. She completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Alexandra is passionate about encouraging healthy lifestyle choices alongside diverse forms of medicine. She strongly believes in the power of team collaboration between herself and fellow providers to curate the best patient care possible. Alexandra is particularly dedicated to treating thyroid disorders and diabetes, leveraging her expertise in Endocrinology to help patients achieve optimal health.
In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exercising. She enjoys these activities, especially when not chasing after her energetic son.
